Andressa began her relationship with Tiago when she was 15; they were both at high school. They stayed together for three months, after they began dating. Arthur Urach Costa, born May 19th, 2005 was the sole child of the couple. In the course of six years separation, the couple divorced in the aftermath of marital disputes. Andressa moved to her mom's house along with her son. Following a six-month break, she lost her position and chose to send her son back to father, in hopes of pursuing a life of greater opportunity with her son in Sao Paulo. Being vain as well as a highly self-confident woman, the principal reason she left her homeland in the South to go to Sao Paulo, was in the hope of achieving fame and fortune. In the book Morri Para Viver Andressa Urach says she endured sexual abuse all through her childhood a victim of the abuse her foster grandfather suffered that occurred from the age of 2 to eight. Andressa has been able to overcome issues because her foster grandmother was able to witness the abuse and re-admitted her in her home. Her mother was not aware of her abuse until Andressa published the book. Andressa said that prior to when she experienced a spiritual awakening It was hard for her to forgive her abuser. I made one of the toughest decisions I've ever made I called the man who sexually abused me. The choice was not easy. I said on the phone following a lot of fasting and prayer vows that I had forgiven him. Although I am in no way guilty, I pleaded for forgiveness. It was just a simple demand. I didn't defend my action. Mariste Urach discusses in an interview for Globo how she felt at first hearing about the abuse her daughter had suffered. Urach went to the city of Rio Grande do Sul where the perpetrator lived in order to take the revenge.
